Sales Strong for Ritchie Bros. in Pittsburgh Auction

Close to 1,500 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Pittsburgh, Pa., on April 24.

Bidders came from more than 35 countries, including 49 U.S. states. Close to 68 percent of the equipment was sold to buyers outside the state, from as far away as Australia, Egypt, Italy and the United Arab Emirates. Online bidders purchased more than 47 percent of the equipment sold (based on gross auction proceeds).

In total, more than 900 equipment lots were sold in the auction, including hydraulic excavators, crawler tractors, loader backhoes, dump trucks, truck tractors and more.
